Free Entry (Freier Eintritt) | No Registration needed (Keine Anmeldung notwendig) Stille Wasser Sind is the working title of a new contemporary dance piece which centers on the often-overlooked depth of introverted individuals in a society that tends to reward loudness, confidence, and constant visibility. This work seeks to create space and visibility for those who feel unheard. Chiara wants to show that silence is not emptiness, but a rich and complex internal landscape, sometimes full of anxiety, sometimes wisdom, often both. Quiet does not mean lacking opinions or insight. Often, it means those thoughts are carefully guarded, hidden under layers of fear or past experience. Through movement, the performer wants to explore how the body carries these unspoken experiences. Dance and body language can serve as a bridge between the internal and external, revealing what words cannot. This piece is a tribute to unspoken resilience and emotional depth, and an invitation to look beyond the obvious. Exploring Identity, Place, and Femininity through Dance explores how femininity is experienced, expressed, and shaped by different "places" , both geographically and culturally. Through the collaboration of three women from distinct yet intersecting worlds, the piece will seek to reveal what is shared beneath the surface: the universal aspects of the female experience. They aim to investigate common ground, the resonances between our personal stories and bodily experiences. The project will ask: how does place challenge, define, or support femininity? And how can artistic expression offer a space to navigate these questions? Organizer: Sonnenstein Loft by RedSapata Kulturinitiative Source: Stadt Linz / Linz-Termine, CC BY 4.0.
