We are pleased to welcome back artist Tobias Måård for a new exhibition. Strata is the plural of the Latin word stratum, meaning a layer or level. In geology, strata are layers of rock and sediment accumulated over long periods of time, each bearing traces of an earlier era. Layers of colour, overpainting, marks, and remnants of previous working processes accumulate on the surface, creating a record of time and transformation.
