Riccardo Fassi Trio feat. Nadje Noordhuis | Concert at Tube's Riccardo Fassi is one of Italy's most renowned jazz pianists, internationally recognised for his versatile and innovative style. An accomplished keyboardist, composer and arranger, he skilfully combines traditional jazz with contemporary and experimental influences, incorporating keyboards, synthesisers and the Hammond organ. His musical career is characterised by a constant dialogue between tradition and the avant-garde, inspiring him to explore a wide range of musical styles. For his Artist in Residence weekend at Tube's, Fassi will be joined by two outstanding soloists. On Thursday, 15 October, he will perform with trombonist Luis Bonilla, with whom he has toured several times. On the following Friday and Saturday evenings, Nadje Noordhuis will make her debut at Tube's. Born in Australia, the trumpeter and composer is known for her deeply expressive, clear sound, described by Dan Bilawsky (All About Jazz) as "beauty beyond category".
