KOMIKS RAVE: DAY & NIGHT – YANAMASTE, BAILEY IBBS, SJ YELLOW, ZUZANA HAKL + MORE

Somehow it is hard to believe that it has been over 12 years since we started Komiks. Three best friends Fatty M, Schwa and Lumiere decided to put on a rave at the Mikrona bunker in 2014 with no big plans or ongoing intentions. This one-of encounter grew into something much bigger than originally planned. We are very grateful for the trust and love that we have received from you so far and the growing audience. The last 12 years were full of bizarre, surreal moments full of joy and happiness as well as tears, massive hangovers and some of sadness too. Skatepark Štvanice – the place that changed Komiks forever. Where our first day parties first kicked off. A space that connects people. Green while urban, remote while near by, nice but run-down. Place where art meets music and graffiti. And for the first-ever daytime session at Štvanice, we’re doing 3 stages and dropping a huge techno booking. One of the most exciting names in the game right now – YANAMASTE. Heads up: our headliner will perform an EARLY AFTERNOON SET – so don’t be late! BUSH hideout stage will host some of our long time favorite local jocks together with Schwa in his first proper house/techno set after his serious ear injury. We are glad to have him back. Debut EDEN stage (behind the skatepark) will host cream of the local techno artists who focus on the banging side of things. From 4PM till late. And after the Štvanice day-rave? Get ready for a night time action at Altenburg, with a storm of techno, breaks, acid and rave music powered by amazing dj and producer Bailey Ibbs. This time with a proper aircon included. So yeah, no more sweat dripping from the ceiling. Just clean sound and heavy groove.
